Kissing Camels

Quilt was begun at the 2002 Rocky Mountain Quilt Retreat with Ricky Tims. 

A photo taken in the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs was the starting point.  I usually work with straight lines, but for this one, took a different approach and did some curved line piecing. 

This rock formation is known as Kissing Camels, so I pieced a pair of kissing camels for the back in a more literal interpretation of the term!
